affinity for assigning everyone victim status for everything under the sun. This is a predictable, if not inevitable, outcome for adopting such a mentality and then sanctioning it officially at state and federal levels. Maybe the silver lining in this is that the guy was after all a "jackass", had it been someone more esteemed, or the son of someone more esteemed, there might already be legislation rolling to A-do something about reducing top speeds and or horsepower in new cars and B-outlaw power modifications to current cars, resulting in a nice new little revenue pool for state budgets in the business of fining & confiscating car guys for harming absolutely no one.
